Copper Valley Air Service provides air taxi services for hunting trips within Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the Copper River Basin, the Chugach Mountains and beyond including hunting service units 11, 12, and 13.
Copper Valley Air Service partners with Majestic Mountain Lake View Outfitters to arrange for Hunting Guides for your hunting adventure. For out-of-state hunters guides are required for some game. Alternatively we can bring your hunting party to pristine remote Alaskan Wilderness locations for your unguided hunting trip. Additional options include flying in to our High Lake Base Camp or to the Chugach Wilderness Lodge to use as your base of operation.

Fly-In High Lake Base Camp
Enjoy complete solitude with this package. Nestled high in the Chugach Mountains, this lake is as pristine as they come. Many species of fish inhabit the waters but it's the Trout that are the kings here. It's a favorite for most of our guests. A truly unique fishing experience awaits you! |
- High Lake Base Camp Hunting & Fishing:
Pristine Lake fishing/camping in the Chugach Mountains. We provide a boat with outboard, another with oars, tent with hard floor (10' x 12' with 6' walls), and all the cooking gear you will need. You need to bring your own food, water (or boil the lake water), fishing gear, sleeping bags and sleeping pads.
Prices start at $250 per person for a 3 day, 2 night stay.
Additional days are $75.00 per day.
2 Person minimum.
When you make reservations for this package you determine how much time you want to spend at the lake.

Fly-In Chugach Wilderness Lodge
This intimate backcountry mountain lodge with a maximum occupancy of ten guests is the only "off-the-grid" wilderness lodge in the Chugach Mountains. The lodge and five cozy free standing cabins are on five acres of deeded ground surrounded by thousands of square miles of mountain wilderness. This remote backcountry lodge provides an ideal base for hunting expeditions. |
